This shop was born out of one of those middle of the night epiphanies. It's evolved to be different than what I even thought it would be, but it was definitely a middle of the night epiphany. It's truly amazing to me that good sewing notions and supplies can be so hard to find. I'm pretty sure you know what I mean too. There seems to be this unspoken secret of where to get stuff like decent waxed tracing paper, good interfacings, nice quality pins and the like. If it's not an unspoken secret then you end up paying a small fortune in shipping costs having all these items shipped from different places. The days of being able to drive over to your local fabric store to pick up these items seems to be long gone. To be frank, that's what this shop is all about. It's about me knowing what you need because I, myself, create my own garments. Every single item in this shop is hand selected by me. They are items that I use. I've tried and used a lot of sewing notions and supplies in my day and so I pick the best of the best. There's no cutting corners here. I'm all about wanting the very best in my garment sewing adventures. The tools and supplies you find here are built to last. I try to supply them from my own local stomping grounds and if not, they are tested by me and others to make sure they can hold up under pressure. The sewing notions are quite simply, little luxuries. Things like rayon petersham ribbon - feels wonderful to the touch and has so many uses - lambswool, for interlining jackets and coats, two-inch wide horsehair braid with a string pull along one edge and 100% cotton tailor's tape are sold here for their hard to find and high quality nature. I hope this little shop brings you pleasure. Sewing pleasure.
